Webcam: Correct Color Filter
Since using Ubuntu 8.04 I have an annoying problem with the webcam built into the laptop (it is an Acer Aspire 5672): Whenever I start Camorama (or any program that allows me to see the input of the webcam) I find myself with an image whose colors are totally out of phase.
To solve, at least Camorama, simply activate the filter "Color Correction" manually. I repeat the operation sincerely annoys .. (after all if the webcam with the filter works, why is not enabled by default?) so I did some research and discovered that it is sufficient to remedy the problem perform the following method:
With the assistance of the dear shell execute
$ Sudo gedit / etc / modprobe.d / options
At the end of the document and insert
options gspca force_rgb = 1
So just worry about remounting the modified form
$ Sudo modprobe-r gspca
$ Sudo modprobe gspca
Now the settings are inclusive of color correction filter!
